Piotr M. Matusiak
Piotr (“Peter”) M. Matusiak joined Thrun Law Firm in 2016. Peter graduated magna cum laude from Furman University in 2012. At Furman, Peter was a double-major in Economics and in History, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and a member of Sigma Chi. In 2016, Peter graduated summa cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law. In law school, Peter was Managing Editor of the Michigan State Law Review and a recipient of jurisprudence awards (awards for the highest “A” in a subject) in Contract Drafting; Education Law; Immigration Law; Labor Law; Michigan No-Fault Insurance Law; Research, Writing, and Analysis; and Sales and Leases. Peter’s paper, “Overcoming the Labyrinth: Embracing Attorney General Mukasey’s Silva-Trevino Decision,” was published in the Michigan State Law Review in the fall of 2016.
Peter is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. His practice focuses on general school law, labor and employment law, and municipal law.
Peter resides in DeWitt. As a native of Warsaw, Poland, Peter is an avid follower of the Polish National Football Team. He is the catcher for the firm’s softball team.
